As part of an international project a unique collection of 580 interviews with survivors from around the world was put together.  Živá paměť together with FAMU (the Film and TV School of the Czech Academy of Performing Arts) and the Museum of Roma Culture in Brno documented 47 stories by survivors of the Nazi period living at the time in the Czech and Slovak Republics.  Of these 35 are audio recordings and 12 of them are on video-tape.  The texts, which feature expert commentary, are accompanied by the survivors‘ biographies and photos of preserved historical documents and period photos.
